Bred By Daddy was about 43-year-old Kane Archer and 22-year-old Daisy Marcs. Kane had married Daisy's mother six years earlier, only for her mom to die in an accident less than 18 months into that marriage. Not only did Daisy still live with Kane, but she also became an employee of Kane's company. This story, while good, was a bit difficult to swallow. Probably because it was the first stepdad/daughter story where the late mother and the stepfather actually loved each other before the wife died...only for the stepdad to develop feelings for his stepdaughter four years after having met her (well after the mom died). They still shared the same home they had lived in during his marriage to her mom, even though she was an adult with a job that could easily pay for a place of her own. Perhaps it was the way the MMC took matters into his own hands and changed the parameters of their relationship without first discussing them with the FMC. I don't know what it was, although it wasn't the stepdad/daughter relationship itself. But it just didn't ring as sincere as many of the other similar stories I've read. I only gave it a three-star rating.
