Until I met Tilly in college, I didn’t understand true friendship. I’ve been alone for so long and trying to find my way in the world. Tilly showed me what it means to have a sister, even if we aren’t blood related. She let me get away with refusing to go back to her home with her for a while, but she won’t be put off this time.
Meeting Crew, Tilly’s brother, makes me feel things I’ve never experienced before. There’s a pull to him I don’t understand. That would be fine, but I don’t think he’s feeling the same thing. He’s avoiding me like I’m diseased, and I don’t understand why. Then there’s his all-female fan club which shouldn’t bother me as much as it does.
