Bestie’s Billionaire Daddy by Audrey Robert
Charlie Young is always cold, distant, serious. He’s also my new boss. My best friend’s dad. And the one I can’t resist.
I always saw him just as that. My Bestie’s daddy. Borderline jerk. Definitely not my type.
I mean… he certainly doesn’t have a dad’s bod! Broad shoulders, ripped abs, large hands.
When we get stuck alone on his yacht though, everything changes.
Now all I can think of is about those hands running all over me. About those lips on my neck. About that body against mine.
How can I ever be with him? There’s too much at stake.
On top of betraying my best friend, I’m brand new at this job.
People at work will assume I got the job cause I’m sleeping with him.
Hello credibility smasher!
But when his hands finally undress me in the lab, I have no choice. I succumb and give myself to him entirely.

Bestie's Billionaire Daddy was about 24-year-old Charlotte "Charlie" Wilson, a grad student earning her Ph.D. in aquatic microbiology, and 51-year-old Dr. Christopher "Chris" Young, her best friend's father, and her boss. Side Note: The Blurb said her name was Charlie Young, but the book stated that HIS name was Christopher Young, and HER name was Charlie Wilson. The Blurb was also misleading in how things developed between the two main characters. The best thing to do, IMHO, is to ignore most of what the Blurb stated and just read the book...if you're interested, that is. There's not a lot to say about this book. It was...okay but disappointing at the same time. The flow of the story wasn't right, and it didn't make much sense. It was definitely drowned in way too much fluff that just made little to no sense. The focus seemed to be more on the research than the romance. It also said it was the first book in the series, and yet...there was only one book. Again, the Blurb stated that the MMC was a "Borderline jerk," and that the FMC thought he was "Definitely not my type", except that's not how the author portrayed either of them. Actually, very little about the Blurb was correct. The way the book ended was...odd, and that's being nice. I don't think I've ever read a book to end in such a manner. There were too many grammatical errors, and the reactions of all the secondary characters were unsettlingly wrong when they learned about the relationship between the two main characters. The whole thing was just poorly done. I almost gave it no stars, but instead, I gave it one.
