I lost hours from my life on this book. It had potential but something’s wrong.
Be prepared for a cliff hanger as this book is part of a series and the ending leaves you hanging the HEA is still unfinished and there should be more to come. The cat and mouse game between Graeme and Evie is dragged out throughout the book to build the chemistry and even though it is intense the drawn out play between the two MCs is exhausting added to that the mystery between Graeme’s rival and Eva’s brother there should be more in the plot that will follow. The annoying part is they keep calling each other Ms King and Mr Bellamy. In the beginning as employer employee I get it but the continued snipping is annoying. Their relationship is building throughout the book but their true feelings for each have not surfaced yet or really spoken about. Slow burn but has promise. Need to read next book when it comes out to get the full storyline.
Full of moronic dialogue that is supposed to be witty
