The smoking hot blue alien captured my heart despite my intent not to fall in love.
My only goal is to find Briel. She came to the Starlight Matchmaking Agency in New York and simply vanished without a trace. I will not sit back and do nothing, not since I found Starlight Matchmaking Agency in Chicago. I’ll do anything to find my friend.

I chose YES and here I am, on a spaceship traveling in hyper-speed to a planet to meet my match. Did I say he’s also royalty? A prince with blue skin, but his captain is oh, so desirable. No human male can compete with his physique. I’m not here for the match, I’m here to find Briel.

I admit to Captain Atargus why I chose yes. What’s it to him if I’m not really interested in meeting the Prince of Eradau? The attraction to the captain of the Astral Express pulls at my heart instead. I’m not sure I want to meet the pompous Prince anyway. I’d rather have some fun since I’m here with the Captain.

Read this, not great. They are separated through most of story. Feels forced on his part at times. She keeps flipping out about friend getting matched and then no word from her, duh. The chick is in the vastness of space with her soulmate/fated mate. Even when she does same, she doesn't think of trying to contact her friends to tell them she's OK after being mated on an alien planet for 3wks. Yet still flips out and even lies saying matchmaker told her she definitely would be able to see her or whatever. Anyway, how does she still act like her friend is in danger by the end even tho she did same exact thing. Note to me, don't reread. Parts are OK, but lame overall.

The premise, or plot device is so dumb. Seriously. Plus, her friend obviously found her perfect mate and is enjoying being with him and can't just pick up the phone and give this idiot a call. Plus, I just love how all these female leads are so self absorbed and inconsiderate, well, compared to the guys in these types of stories. Like, upon meeting her first alien, "May I? You need to understand, this is the first time I’ve ever laid eyes on an alien. Your skin looks so soft and blue and I want to touch it.” What would any of these idiot Female Leads in alien romance stories do if the guy said that and put his hand out? Yup, shriek "Don't touch me!!!" and run, terrified. Then stay terrified and refuse all feelings and him. Sigh, just frustrated, wish the authors would write an actual romance story, rather than having these chicks act so crazy, stupid, close-minded, ETC. as an excuse to not get to know Mr, Perfect to drag out enough chs. It makes me really not want them to end up tog, sometimes. I wish she'd get what she wants, return to Earth. Then, send him a chick he deserves, ya know? Obviously, that'd be more enjoyable to read about.
