I’m done being the nice girl. This time around, I think it’s time I show these men exactly who I am.
They tried to leave. I gave them everything, and they still both tried to leave me. Maybe believing in happy endings wasn’t the best thing for my heart.
The only problem is, I still want them. But I’m done putting myself out there just to get left behind. We have a war to fight, and I have friends to protect. That’s where my focus should lie.
As we play this game of love and fate, we think we know our target and that our end goals align. However, new players reveal hidden motives. We go from playing a game of Chess–all set to kill the king–to a game of Clue where all of the players are hidden.
Just when we thought we were the scariest of them all, a band of mercenaries decides they have something to say.

Images of another life consume my mind When I’m awake and when I sleep. Sometimes they haunt me, other times they feel as if I’m watching them on a screen. But I can’t seem to figure out where they are coming from.
As we learn to accept ourselves and fight for love, our quiet peace is suddenly shattered. Will our love be enough to bring us back together? Or will we fall, only for our enemies to attack us that much quicker?

In a game of love and fate, how do you ensure the ones you would die for stay safe? All I know is, I would gladly take an arrow to my heart to protect them.
