I loved Jesse and Reid from the previous two books but was suspicious whether they will end up together as Jesse and Reid or a third person (by third person I am not referring to Zero; I had a feeling that he is the darkest Reid; and compliments, Carmen, this time you layered the Reids exceptionally well) will join the show .... and spoil the story as it happened with Gia and Dravin & Draven's story. Quick shift, although I loved the first book, Gia and Dravin & Draven completely lost character in the second book. One of the Drav(i)(e)ns had to leave the trio. So yes, I was suspicious in the beginning. Looking forward to Veronica & Aleric's story.
