Grace is an architect from Denver who spends time every autumn in Summit Springs where she builds a hay maze for charity. This year is the same as always, and she loves it.

Molly works as a server at the Whitewater, where she meets Grace. She’s attracted to Grace and feels like a connection might be there. When Grace invites her to walk the maze, she jumps at the opportunity to see Grace again.
When they walk the maze, though, they find a dead body lying between the bales! Not only that, but they find themselves suspects in the murder. Things spiral as Molly and Grace try to solve the mysterious death, and during their investigation, as they weed through several red herrings, they fall in love. Will they solve the case or take the rap for a murder they didn’t commit?
