Adoring Alejandro by Eve Black
Maeve Thomas has always been the one in the background; easily ignored, easily overlooked, easily forgotten. And she hasn’t minded, really. It helps keep the attention off her not so attractive attributes. She’s happy hiding…until she comes face to face with a man who makes her wish to finally be seen.
Alejandro Mendez, the sexy co-owner of the company where she works, is looking to kick his playboy ways and finally settle down, but he’s looking everywhere but right in front of him. How do you make the man of your dreams take notice when everything about you is forgettable?
When a clandestine encounter heats things up between them, Maeve is hopeful AJ feels the same, that his heart belongs to her.
Too bad he gives it to someone else.

Story for curvy shy girls wanting love a nice story with some tension and HEA. Back story with AJ’s parents was introduced but did not feel it was given the warranted attention to the storyline I would have liked AJ’s father to get what he deserved as he was a real bastard. Story touched on Maeve’s family but it was not given the detail to explain Maeve’s shyness and poor self worth this would have put more perspective as to the why she acted the way she did. I would have liked an epilogue but liked the start of the next story with Callie.
