ADAM
Each of us O’Sheas had a place in our family dynamic.
I was the one who made sure our family stayed safe.
The quiet O’Shea. The protective one. The one who did the dirty jobs.
A woman and family were the farthest things from my mind.
It wasn’t a dream I’d ever thought to have or even felt like I deserved.
Until they landed on my doorstep.
One look at them and I knew that I’d go back to the darkness I’d lived in to ensure they were safe.

I’d made my choices, and while they weren’t the best, I’d got my two beautiful girls out it.
I probably should have felt bad when my husband was declared dead but all I felt was relief.
Until he came back from the dead intent on finding what he thought belonged to him.
We were beaten but not broken my girls and me.
I knew that I had to warn them.
So, I took my girls and ran, no plan in mind.
Just that I had to warn them.
I’d never expected to trust another man, until him.
My choices this time were the right ones.
