When Stephanie became the Queen of the Underworld and goddess of the Elysian Fields, she exchanged her mortal life for an immortal one—a marriage to Hades, the King of Ash and Bone himself. In time she would become submerged into the new life of a Greek goddess, but a human life with human customs was all she knew, leaving her with momentary bouts of homesickness.
